Clark Family

Doron is a neighborhood leader and businessperson. He serves as President of Windom Park Citizens in Action and works at a Fortune 50 company in developing job skills.

A native of Minnesota, Doron’s roots in Northeast extend back 100 years when his great-great grandfather conducted streetcars on Central Avenue. Doron became active in the East Side political process shortly after being elected co-chair of Windom Park Citizen in Action. He twice attended the state DFL convention as a delegate advocating for neighborhood organizations. An experienced leader, Clark worked for the Minnesota State Senate in the late 1990s.

In 2008, he played a key role in returning a Northeast resident to the Minneapolis school board as Jill Davis was elected. A 2009 graduate of Camp Wellstone's campaign track, Doron understands the importance of grassroots organizing.

Doron and his wife Molly welcomed their daughter Sylvie into the family in July 2008.

In his personal time, Doron is an eight-year Big Brother and director for the programming committee for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Twin Cities. Additionally, he has been recognized for his service to his alma mater, Hamline University, as he is a director for several planning /development committees. An active member of his church, Northeast’s Grace United Methodist Church, he recently led a service trip to the Mississippi Coast to assist in Hurricane Katrina relief.
